The Shannock Valley Community Festival will be celebrating its 19th Anniversary in 2008. This community festival has been sponsored and supported by community members and businesses for the past 18 years. This three-day, annual event will be held on July 17, 18 and 19, 2008 with food booths, entertainment, games and rides for kids of all ages.
The festival will be held at the Shannock Valley Park, which is located along route 85 in Rural Valley, PA.
The festival will have over 35 vendors, pony rides, food, games, rides and musical entertainment every evening.
Festival Chairperson, Gary McCoy: " I would like to thank every member of our community. Without everyone's time, effort and financial support, we would not be able to have such a wonderful event over the past 18 years. I, along with the festival's committee members, are so proud to have the support of the community and local businesses. Without it, we would not be able to provide the three day event of quality family entertainment and attractions."
